Let the parking ticket games begin
You are the numero uno parking ticket fighter in NYC. You receive a telephone call from a distraught member of the driving public. She says, “I was just issued two parking tickets I do not deserve. Please help me.”
Assume our fair damsel’s registration lists her vehicle as a SUBN, with a registration expiration date of April 10, 2011. This is an out-of-state vehicle with the month and year displayed on the license plate. The second parking ticket was issued on the same day at 12:21 p.m. Your client says she was absolutely, positively parked in the same space when both parking tickets were issued. She insists she did NOT move her car in between NYC parking tickets.
What advice would you give our fair damsel in distress? Can you beat either or both parking tickets? How? Are you recommending fight, pay, or take the reduced fine?
I’ll post our recommendations on Friday. Good luck!
