Three amazing parking tickets stories made news:
-Christine Ireland, 23, was handed an L70 fine as she tried to give her nine-month-old daughter Caitlin an inhaler to help with breathing difficulties. She parked her car in a bus stop. The parking ticket warden’s response, “not my problem.” How did this turn out? Here’s a link to the full parking ticket article.
-A motorist sued a council for L20,000 over the stress of receiving four parking tickets. Zun Noon, who refused to pay the four L50 fines, claimed he suffered emotional distress after bailiffs were sent round to collect the money. Check out the full article for a surprise twist. Is there parking ticket justice?
-A volunteer is helping the Salt Lake City Police Department write parking tickets. Can you image? Mr. Stutzenberger generated $50,000 in parking ticket revenue. Is this guy a good samaritan?
Commentary
I’d love to hear other parking ticket stories. What do you think about the parking ticket warden’s response? Did Zun Noon win? What do you think about Mr. Stutzenberger’s help? You opinion counts!
