You can appeal a guilty verdict for your NYC parking ticket
You have 30 days from the date the judge’s decision was entered (not the date you receive the decision) to appeal. Keep in mind that your burden of proof on appeal is different than your first bite at the parking ticket apple.
On appeal, you must persuade an appeals panel that the original judge made a mistake of law or fact.
You are not permitted to submit new evidence. Your appeal must be based on the evidence you submitted for the original hearing.
