Life in NYC Parking Ticket Land turns grim

I hate unjust parking tickets. Injustice makes me crazy. So, I’ve set out to help the NYC driving public by providing information and assistance fighting an NYC parking ticket. That’s the action I’ve taken.

On the other hand, the New York Post reported that two hooligans took their own action to combat an NYC parking ticket. They beat up a parking ticket warrior. Disgusting. Simply disgusting.

This cowardly duo pictured in the image below represent life’s bottom feeders. If you know ’em report ’em.

These two men assaulted a NYC parking ticket warrior for issuing a parking ticket
The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two suspects wanted for an assault on a uniformed on-duty NYPD Traffic Enforcement Agent, which occurred within the confines of the 46 Precinct. Details are as follows: On Monday, July 13, 2015, at 1640 hours, at the corner of West Burnside Avenue and Davidson Avenue, a uniformed on-duty NYPD Traffic Enforcement Agent was issuing a summons on a gray 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, with NY License Plates, which was parked at a fire hydrant at the location. As the Traffic Enforcement Agent was writing the summons, two male suspects approached and began to argue with him. The suspects then punched the victim in the head and fled in the vehicle northbound on Davidson Avenue. The Traffic Enforcement Agent sustained physical injuries to his head and was removed to St. Barnabus Hospital in stable condition. Suspect #1 is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 5’6″ tall, 200 pounds, with a light complexion, short black hair, and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black and white t-shirt with a camouflage pattern, white and black shorts and white sneakers. Suspect #2 is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 5’5, 190 pounds, with a light complexion and a bald head. He was last seen wearing black sunglasses, a black t-shirt with a white logo on the front, black shorts and white sneakers. A surveillance video of the suspects is attached and available at DCPI. 46 Pct- Assault (RMA#1667-15)

More news from the dark side of NYC Parking Ticket Land

The NY Daily News reported that a 47-year old guy was found dead in his illegally parked car with two parking tickets, one inside the vehicle, and another stuck under the wiper. Yup, not one but two parking ticket warriors issued tickets to a car with a dead body inside.

One of the two tickets on Barry’s Buick Regal was inside the car. The other was tucked under the windshield wiper, witnesses said.Barry’s car was sitting in an alternate side of the street parking zone where vehicles were not allowed to park between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday, officials said. Between 11:49 and 11:53 a.m., a city Traffic Enforcement Agent slapped tickets on vehicles in front of and behind the Buick Regal, but not on Barry’s, witnesses said.”

Cops were investigating why the traffic agent skipped Barry’s car — or if he noticed if Barry was alive, officials said.”

You can’t make this stuff up

Just in case you thought parking ticket violence was confined to  NYC Parking Ticket Land.

Here’s a San Diego parking ticket warrior with a case of rabbit ears and thin skin smacking an EMT worker. Life imitates…Life.

If you think the fight was outrageous, check out the comments following this YouTube video. They’re gross.

Commentary

What’s worse than the injustice of an NYC parking ticket? The despicable reaction of members of the driving public to getting a parking ticket. My advice is:

  • Never, ever engage a parking ticket warrior
  • Take the ticket quietly
  • When you’re right fight
  • And win

Park safely, my friends.
