“The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.”

It is time to put down your T.V. changer, turn off your video game console, throw on your coat because it’s a little chilly out, and head down to:
Where: NY City Council’s Transportation Committee Meeting
250 Broadway, NYC
When: Tuesday, November 9th at 10:00AM
Why: Lend your support, sign a petition, and most importantly let the Council Members know you mean business. The Alternate Side Parking Rule is broken, and we want a voice in fixing it. The New York City driving public is no longer willing to plan two days of our lives around space hopping, parking tickets, adding toxic fumes to the air we breath, and worrying about where we are going to hide our cars until Street Cleaning time limits expire.
I’m too busy is NO excuse
We can all come up with a shopping list full of excuses why we can’t take time out of our busy day to support a piece of legislation that will make the quality of our lives much, much better. Right? Why waste the energy saying no? Just go! Let your Council Member know how you feel about your race to the space. Time for a change, isn’t it?
More action heroes
If there is a tsunami in your neighborhood tomorrow, and you can’t paddle your way to the meeting, please write your Council Member, and tell her/him you support proposed legislation Intro 375. You’ll be glad you did! Thank you.
Here’s a link to the new proposed legislation
