Commentary

The job of giving out parking tickets is a nightmare. it involves being yelled out, spit at, and occasionally, swung at. The language is rated R.

It has been my experience that the majority of Warriors do the right thing. If they see a parking violation, they issue a ticket. That’s their job. On the other hand, the majority of drivers in NYC and other cities believe they are being unjustly targeted for a costly parking violation.

Maybe so, and when a Warrior makes a mistake or a rogue Warrior plays it fast-and-loose with the truth, we have a very viable option. Fight the evil ticket. Don’t engage, insult, or throw a hairy canary at the Warrior.

The best reply to an unjust ticket is to beat it.

Park safely.
