5 Revealing Parking Ticket Q/A’s You Need To Know

Parking ticket Q/A’s that will save you money
I highly value parking ticket Q&As, tips, and insights that help drivers understand the rules and avoid unnecessary fines. For example, knowing that you can legally stop in a no-standing zone to drop off Aunt Tilly—as long as you leave immediately—can be the key to fighting an unjust NYC parking ticket. Similarly, understanding the difference between a legal and a major legal parking holiday can help you park confidently and avoid costly mistakes.

Did you know New Jersey sued to stop NYC’s congestion pricing plan?
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is joining the federal Department of Transportation to fight a lawsuit by New Jersey.

Commuter buses and specific government vehicles will be exempt from congestion pricing. Low-income drivers will receive a 50% discount after their initial 10 trips.
The MTA’s congestion pricing plan was signed into law in 2019 by former Governor Cuomo. The MTA is on track to begin tolling drivers in May 2024.
